Nano-Mugen Festival Report! (updated 07/17/06)
The Nano-Mugen Festival started July 16th, 2006. At the welcoming ceremonies, AKG thanked their MCs and fans for coming. The festival then kicked off with a variety of bands from the UK and Japan on two stages. Audience members who needed refreshments could stop at "Kiyoshis Bar". By 5o clock, goods were starting to sell out. It wasnt until 7:45 that AKG finally got the stage to their selves. They opened with "Angou no Waltz", and played other great hits like "World Apart", "Blackout", etc... They then ended the festival with a final encore!
The festival continued the following day with some new and returning bands. The weather was rather gloomy and rained off and on. Luckily the festival was mainly an indoors event, so it wasnt effected much by the weather. Straighteners song, "The Novemberist" was a huge hit with the crowd, as was "Hit in the USA" by Beat Crusaders! AKG stole the stage again as the last act to a very successful festival. They began with "Mirai no Kakera" and then transitioned to "Siren". Like the previous day, they did another encore. Overall, the festival was the largest yet to be put on and extremely successful at that!

According to Oricon, the graduate did not even know that they had won until they saw AKG at their graduation! What an incredible way to celebrate a graduation, and thus one more reason to brag to your friends about why AKG rocks ;)
