Hmm, decided to give these guys a deeper listen after reading this thread. I was afraid I was missing something, but I just don't think they're doing it for me a whole lot. It's fine, but they just remind me too much of Built to Spill covering Modest Mouse's We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. I mean, it's not bad and I don't want to imply that it is. I just think I feel guilty enough for not listening to Built to Spill more than I do, haha.

Will certainly keep an eye on this thread to see what their new stuff sounds like, but I don't think I can expect a whole lot, but maybe they'll make something that'll impress me. Smiley

Some recent news up on their site says (I believe) they're going to be releasing a 12" analog of AlphaBeta vs. Lambda..

Also, the tracklist has been added to their site for Ukarete Iro hito (with crappy program-done translation)

1、バランス (baransu, Balance)
2、 タンカティーラ (tankateiira, ?)
3、どちらにしろ (dochiranishiro, Make it to either)
4、レースのコース (reesu no koosu, Race's Course)
5、真ん中で (?, ?)

Nice.

dochira ni shiro is more like "what shall we do".

The last one is man naka de, which means "in the true center", I think.

Hopefully they will play some at fuji rock.

Ogre You Asshole is doing a tour of the US this November, with 18 stops along the way. The list of shows is here on their site.

Unfortunately they're not coming anywhere close to where I live; The closest show they're doing is in Philadelphia, which is about a 6-7 hour drive...in fact, they're doing no shows at all the in the north east.

Most of the shows seem to be in the southern and middle parts of the country; strange, considering most US tours of Japanese bands tend to cover the East and West coasts.

I'm pretty surprised that they are doing so many of them in the Southeastern USA. Atlanta is only a day drive away and St Louis only 6 hours. Doesn't Mediarite live in Atlanta? Maybe if he is lucky he can interview them lol

To repeat this moment of ours again but properly
At some point I would meet you

The list on the site gives the name of the place they're playing it, so if you go to their website or contact them you can probably get the tickets that way, or at least find out how to get them.
