Run away before the shadows from my back fully lengthens
Unaware of my clipped wings I fly away

Street corners, Sweet odors, Salivating enviously
From far off beyond
Howls I recognize from somewhere

Riding on faint hope brought in by the night breeze
How far can we go?
As if to repel, the world shakes and snatches all away
I've woken from my dreams
But nothing's been accomplished
Go forth

I float, cutting myself off from mid-day laziness
Flying, looking down on newly born clouds

Street corners, The odor of blood, Zooming missiles
From far off beyond
Crying I recognize from somewhere

The dribbling deep red moon appears and the dice is thrown
Wanna cut loose from these days of nonsense
Don't wanna end it as if nothing's happened
