New Tune Announced! (updated 05/24/06)
AKG has announced that the new song featured on the Nano-Mugen Compilation album is called "Jyuni Shinhou no Yukei". The title roughly means "Twelve Advance System of Evening Scenery". Some fans have speculated that the title is representational of the zodiac which contains twelve animals. Others have come up with more outlandish theories, stating that it represents the revolution of the moon. Whatever the case, all fans should be excited for this new tune :) AKG also plans to make a PV for this new tune. The album is planned to be released July 5th, so look for the new PV about two weeks prior to the release.

Poor Results for Fan Club (updated 04/06/06)
After a nice start, Fan Clubs performance has dwindled in the Japanese market. Sales have gone down dramatically. The results are odd since AKG has received praise from several organizations like Excite and Oricon. In Ninkis investigation, it was even found that Fan Club was highly anticipated by listeners. So whats the problem? The only clear dillema I can find is their poor advertisement. If you dont count "Blackout" as a real release for AKG, then AKG basically did not release anything for almost a year! In addition to this, they have had poor advertising for "Blue Train" and "World Apart". The lack of releases and advertisement has really hurt their sales! Sol-Fa sold almost 600,000 copies and right now Fan Club has only sold about 200,000 after three weeks. What can be done to change this bad trend? Remind friends and fans to support AKG by buying their new album. I also encourage you to email AKG if you feel the need to. They do read their mail and feedback is very important to them.
How has Fan Club done? (updated 03/25/06)
I am sure that many of you have been wondering how Fan Club has done in terms of sales. Fan Club has performed very well so far! On daily rankings, it hasnt dropped below the top three and continues to stay strong in the charts! After the first week it was released, Fan Club currently stands #3. In addition, they sold 152, 034 copies! Only 600,000 copies of Sol-Fa were sold, so there is a very good chance that Fan Club will pass this number! Stay tuned each week as Ill bring you more news about Fan Clubs latest performance in the market!
Fan Club is Out! (updated 03/014/06)

Blue Train (updated 01/27/06)
As many fans know, Blue Train was a very experimental single with mixed feelings amonst fans. Ironically, according to Oricon, this was AKGs best selling single thus far with 66,000 copies sold! That is almost 20,000 more copies than their previous best selling single, Rewrite! Another interesting fact that was revealed, is that Kita helped compose Blue Train.
